I was a bit skeptical at first seeing that the comparable Bostich was more than twice the price and every other gun in the same price range as this one only carried a 1 year warranty. Well, I’m glad I took the chance. At first glance, the fit and finish is was much better than I had expected. The hammer and safety goggles that came with it were also good quality and ended up holding up great. Once I plugged it in and dialed in the right pressure on my compressor, the gun worked perfectly. It had no issues getting through the Teak.
The only advice I would give is to periodically stop and check the hex bolts and tighten them up. Had I done this, I’m certain it wouldn’t have jammed on me (It did it twice; both were due to lose bolts, not bad considering I put in over 2000 L Cleats). I’m pretty certain that any piece of equipment getting hit as hard and as many times as I did would’ve had the same issue. Once everything was tight, it continued to work flawlessly. I would absolutely recommend this to any DIY’er (heck, I think it may even be Pro quality). I know this almost sounds too good to be true, but it really is a good product (7 year warranty too).
